Meet KINGDRAGON, a Melodic Hard n Heavy band that emerged in 2006, founded by George Aspiotis (Vocals + Keyboards), the seasoned keyboardist of SPITFIRE, and former member of NIGHTFALL and RAW SILK. With an extensive background in the Greek Hard & Heavy Rock scene, Aspiotis sought to forge a "new strong melodic sound" influenced by three powerful decades of melody: the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
 

KINGDRAGON made their live debut on November 3, 2006, supporting the distinguished band GOTTHARD in Athens. Performing unreleased material and a notable Journey cover (Separate Ways), they garnered excellent reviews from Greek magazines, webzines, and radio.
 

In October 2008, KINGDRAGON independently released the EP "FIRE IN THE SKY," comprising four songs: "Fire in the Sky," "Man Of Yesterday," "Hold On 2 Love," and "Lovely Lady." The EP received global acclaim from producers in 40 countries, marking a successful self-financed release.
 

The band's live prowess continued, supporting the legendary FIREHOUSE in October 2008, resulting in a SOLD OUT show. KINGDRAGON's exceptional performance and the audience's enthusiastic response solidified their status in the hard rock scene.
 

On November 2, 2009, KINGDRAGON celebrated their third-year anniversary by supporting the renowned band HOUSE OF LORDS. Exceptional live reports spurred global outreach, and the band initiated contact with promoters and producers worldwide to introduce KINGDRAGON to the global Hard Rock audience.
 

In July 2013, KINGDRAGON signed with Retrospect Records / USA for the Release & Worldwide Distribution of their debut album, "Hide The Sun." The album, recorded and mixed in digital and analog versions, showcases their simultaneous strength and melodic finesse. The dragon's breath is unmistakable in their unique sound.
 

The journey continued with a tribute cover to Judas Priest's "You’ve Got Another Thing Coming," released by METAL HAMMER GREECE in February 2016. KINGDRAGON's live presence expanded with performances in Bulgaria (Pollinerook Fest Plovdiv 2014), at the HRH AOR Festival in Wales UK in 2015, and as the opening act for Thunder's show in Athens in May 2018.
